What is THE ABLLS-R®?
The ABLLS-R® (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised) is a powerful tool developed by Dr. James W. Partington. It helps assess and track essential skills for children with autism and developmental disabilities —
Including skills in the areas of receptive language, vocal imitation, requests, labeling, intraverbals, spontaneous vocalizations, syntax & grammar, social interactions, & generalized responding.
Including skills in the areas of visual performance, reading, math, writing, & spelling.
Including skills in the areas of motor imitation, gross motor, & fine motor.
Including skills in the areas of dressing, eating, toileting, grooming, play, & leisure.
Including skills in the areas of cooperation & reinforcer effectiveness, group instruction, & classroom routines.
The Autism Helper’s resources are designed to be used in tandem with the ABLLS-R Assessment Protocol and Guide Set, which must be purchased separately from the publisher.

The Autism Helper Assessment Kit is designed to be used in coordination with the ABLLS-R Protocol (which must be purchased separately from the publisher). However, while the task cards are designed to compliment the assessment they can also be used independently to support skill development.
The Assessment Kit is designed to help you administer the ABLLS-R Assessment itself. It includes the materials needed to conduct the assessment efficiently. The ABLLS-R Aligned Task Cards are designed to be used after the assessment. They help you provide targeted practice and instruction for the specific skills where a learner shows areas of need.
