This year-long life skills curriculum focuses on teaching life skills and concepts. This resource is designed for special education students and autistic learners as it is visual-based and features a step-by-step progression of skills. 

This curriculum includes embedded assessments allowing for data-based decision making and accurate progress monitoring. Level 3 of our Life Skills Leveled Daily Curriculum focuses on focuses on teaching complex life skills concepts and vocabulary, including: grocery shopping & meal planning: food safety, creating a grocery list, meal planning; eating in the community: paying a bill, calculating a tip, ordering takeout; clothing and laundry: steps to use a washer and dryer, washer and dryer settings, laundry care symbols, stain and wrinkle removal; cleaning: outdoor chores and routines, cleaning schedule and indoor chores, important paperwork organization and vocabulary; cooking and kitchen: kitchen safety, common recipe steps, reading a recipe; public transportation: bike rules, rules and steps to using four methods of public transportation, problem solving and citizenship related to transportation; mechanics and repair vocabulary: using a thermostat, unclogging a toilet, hiring professional/expert help; and technology: internet safety, internet vocabulary, texting rules/norms.
